What it costs
Two fixed prices, set before the work starts. This page gives the prices, what moves them, what a claim costs instead, and the tax credit that can return part of the cost.
The two prices
Booking path check
$500 You learn where a patient stops on the three pages that book an appointment, and what to change. Three business days, fixed before the work starts.Findings report
$1,250 to $2,750 You get each barrier on the website, ranked, with the correction for each one. A usual practice website, fixed before the work starts. After the check, we subtract $500.The price is set by the pages we test, and the quote names each one. The two prices are set before the work starts, and they do not change after it.

What sets the price
Three things set the price of a report. Nothing else does.
- The pages. A page is $150 and a light page is $50. Most practice websites use one template for many pages, and we test a sample that covers each template and the path to booking. A 12-page website is usually $1,400.
- The forms and the widgets. The appointment form, the booking widget and the map each get a keyboard pass and a screen reader pass. A page with a form is a page, not a light page.
- The current state. A website that passes most of the scan gives a shorter report, and the price does not change. If we find no Level A and no Level AA failure on the pages in scope, the fee comes back.
The check is $500 for the three pages a patient uses to book, on each website. It is the first purchase for most practices.
The three purchases
| Purchase | What it covers | Price | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Booking path check | The home page, the appointment page or the contact page, and one more page. Six passes by a person. The same report form | $500, fixed | Three business days. The first purchase |
| Findings report | Each page in the quote. All 50 WCAG 2.1 criteria, Level A and Level AA | $150 a page, $50 a light page. Usually $1,250 to $2,750. We subtract $500 after a check | Five business days |
| Correction | A partner developer makes the changes, at a fixed price that we quote with the report | The developer's fixed price, on one invoice from us | After the report |
| Re-scan | The same pages, tested again. Each finding is marked corrected or not corrected | No charge after our correction. Half the first price after a correction by your own developer | After the correction |
| Annual monitoring | A hand test at six months and after a redesign, and an automated scan each month. Or a hand test each quarter | $1,500 a year, or $3,000 a year | After the re-scan. One year at a time |
The check comes first, because the correction is priced from the findings. Nobody can quote a correction before the findings exist.
What a claim costs instead
| To correct it | If an ADA claim comes |
|---|---|
| A check is $500. A full report is $1,250 to $2,750 | The minimum penalty for one violation of the Unruh Civil Rights Act is $4,000 |
| A partner developer makes the corrections at a fixed price on our invoice | You pay an attorney to answer the letter, and the barriers are still there |
| Three business days for the check, five for the report | Not in your hands |
The corrections cost the same before a letter and after one. The letter adds the attorney. We do not know whether a claim will come to you, and we say so.
In California, an ADA violation is a violation of the Unruh Civil Rights Act. Cal. Civ. Code § 51(f) and § 52(a).
The widget
A widget is approximately $49 a month. It adds a script to the page. It does not add a label to a form field or text to a link, and a scan with the widget in place still finds them. The FTC fined accessiBe $1 million in 2025 for its claims. The subscription continues, and the barriers stay. The five changes a vendor can make are on the page What to send your website vendor.
The tax credit
The Disabled Access Credit is Section 44 of the Internal Revenue Code, claimed on IRS Form 8826. A practice with 30 or fewer full-time employees, or with gross receipts below $1 million in the year before, can claim half of its eligible access spending between $250 and $10,250. The maximum is $5,000 a year. Ask your CPA whether a website report and a correction qualify for your practice. We do not give tax advice.
Questions
How much for a usual practice website?
A 12-page website is usually $1,400: 8 pages at $150 and 4 light pages at $50. The check of the three booking pages is $500 on each website.
Why is a widget cheaper?
It changes nothing in the markup. A label that is not there is still not there with the widget in place.
What is in the check?
The home page, the appointment page or the contact page, and one more page. The same six passes as a full report, by a person, in three business days. 76 percent of the 833 eye care websites we scanned have a finding on those three pages.
Is it cheaper before a letter or after?
Before. The corrections are the same work. A letter adds the attorney and a date that is not yours.
Are there costs after the corrections?
Only if you want them. Monitoring is $1,500 or $3,000 a year, one year at a time, sold after the re-scan. A redesign or a change of platform can bring barriers back, and monitoring finds them.
Can you give an exact price before you look?
The check is $500 on each website. For a full report, send the address and we answer with the fixed price and the list of pages in one business day.
