Serious WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content · Level A- What fails
- The page shows the notice with the site builder's PDF viewer. The viewer draws each page into a canvas, which is a picture with no text.
- What it does to a patient
- A patient who uses a screen reader hears the heading and the links, then silence where the notice is. The patient can't get to the notice on the page at all.
- The correction
- Put the notice on the page as text, in the two languages, with the PDF link below it. 30 to 60 minutes.
